Exact channel member counts and license transfer in blindGram 1.5
blindGram 1.5 could announce exact member and view counts in channels, fixed deleting secret chats, and moved your license along with you when you changed your Telegram phone number.
Version 1.5 came out on May 5, 2018. It was a small release, but two of its changes are the kind you feel every day: real numbers instead of rounded ones, and one less thing to do when you change your number.
Exact numbers in channels
Telegram rounds large counts, so a channel reads as "12.4K members" rather than the real figure. With the new optional setting, blindGram reads the exact member count of a channel and the exact view count of a post. The row exists today as Announce exact member and view counts in General settings.
Your license follows your number
A blindGram license is tied to your phone number. Until 1.5, moving it to a new number went through the transfer bot. From 1.5, changing your number inside Telegram transfers the license automatically, with no bot involved.
Fixes
- Deleting a secret chat works again.
- Several smaller problems people had reported were fixed.
Two builds, standard and Plus
This release shipped as a matching pair: the standard app and blindGram Plus. Plus is the same app under a different package name, so a second copy of blindGram can sit on the same Android phone with a second account.
