blindGram 14.2 fixes channel post menus and contact announcements
blindGram 14.2 Final followed 14.1 on July 24, 2026. It can silence channel view counts, restores missing channel post menu items and fixes spoken contact rows.
A small release a few hours after 14.1, aimed at three things a screen reader user hears many times a day: channel posts, their menus, and contact rows.
Quieter channel posts
- Every channel post used to end with its view count, "N Seens", whether you wanted it or not. 14.2 added a setting that turns that announcement off.
- What a message says, and in what order, is yours to arrange in Messages settings. The Messages settings guide lists every switch.
Menu items back on channel and pinned posts
- Comments count, Open message and View replies were missing from the message menu on channel posts and pinned posts. They are back.
- In blindGram a single tap can open that menu, and you can reorder or hide its entries under Ordering menu items in Menu settings. See the Menu settings guide.
Contact rows spoken correctly
- The spoken description of a contact row was wrong, including whether the person is a mutual contact. It is fixed.
- Other reported bugs were fixed as well.
