blindGram 12.1 adds a download sound and clearer voice playback
blindGram 12.1, released April 26, 2024 on Telegram 10.10.1, adds a sound when a download finishes and clearer feedback while voice messages and music play.
Before this release, a finished download did not announce itself, and every playing voice message put a player in the notification shade. Both are now up to you.
Downloads and voice playback
- You can turn on a short sound that plays when a download finishes, so you do not have to go back and check on a file. Today this is Play sound when download completed in the Media section of the blindGram Area.
- A voice message no longer has to put a player in your notification shade. A new option turns that notification off. Today it is Hide the player notification for voice messages.
- The seek dialog you open from a message's menu now announces the elapsed time of the voice message or track you are moving through.
Telegram 10.10.1 and labels
- The features that arrived with Telegram 10.10.1 were made accessible.
- Controls that users had reported as unnamed got spoken labels, and other reported accessibility problems were fixed.
blindGram 12.1 Final closed the test cycle that began with blindGram 12.0 Beta 1 three weeks earlier.
