# blindGram 14.3 Beta 2: better search, recording and navigation

blindGram 14.3 Beta 2, released August 1, 2026 on Telegram 12.9.0, keeps screen reader focus where you expect it and fixes the voice recording controls.

This beta is a broad round of screen reader fixes on Telegram 12.9.0. Most of it is about focus landing in the right place and about controls that were on the screen but could not be reached. It builds on Beta 1 and adds navigation options that later shipped in 14.3 Final.

### Focus and reading

- Adjustable number controls announce their current value and range and move in predictable steps.
- Message search results can be browsed as an accessible list again.
- When you open a chat with unread messages, focus stays on the unread message instead of falling back to the title bar.
- The pinned message banner comes back after you jump to the latest message.
- Channel post signatures are spoken, the post view count is no longer announced twice, and large unread counts in the chat list are no longer read too low.

### Voice recording and playback

- The preview of a recorded voice message keeps the right controls, pause and resume work reliably, and its play and pause button is exposed to the screen reader.
- A locked recording no longer announces "Send" the moment it locks.
- Music playback speed no longer resets when the next track starts.

### Labels for what was silent

- PhotoViewer settings, mini app controls, the music player's More options and other reported overflow buttons now have labels.
- The emoji that confirm a call's encryption are spoken.

### New navigation options

- **Show tabs in share instead of categories**, in Chats settings, lists your own Telegram folders in the share sheet.
- When the bottom bar is hidden, a Menu action beside More options replaces it, and **Always show search button in chat list** keeps chat search as a button.
- **Show Search Navigation Buttons at Bottom**, in Messages settings, moves Previous and Next below Go to bottom, and Go to bottom stays available while you search.
- blindGram Proxy shortcuts were added, along with **Hide proxy sponsor channel** in General settings.
- New Channel appears in the chat list menu, a long press on the profile item switches accounts, and forum topics open in full-screen preview.

### Fixes

- Forward without quote keeps your choice in the same chat, across chats and from Shared Media.
- The duplicate Send target in the share sheet is gone, an inert story preview surface no longer takes a stop, and other reported bugs were fixed.
