# blindGram 13.2 makes expanded reactions and topics accessible

blindGram 13.2 arrived March 16, 2025 on Telegram 11.8.2. Expanded reactions, forum topics and the Send button's hidden actions now work with a screen reader.

If you react to messages, use groups with topics, or ever needed the options behind a long press on Send, this release is about you. It is built on Telegram 11.8.2, so the features Telegram added in that version are accessible too.

### Expanded reactions

Telegram shows a short strip of reactions beside a message and keeps the rest in a larger, expanded picker behind it. That expanded picker was the part screen readers struggled with, and 13.2 made it easier to reach and to read with TalkBack and other Android screen readers.

### Forum topics

- Creating a topic in a group that has topics turned on works again.
- The emoji you choose as a topic's icon is now accessible.

### Holding the Send button

Telegram hides a few actions behind a long press on Send, such as scheduling a message or sending it without sound. Those actions are now reachable with a screen reader, so you are no longer limited to a plain tap.

### Labels and fixes

- New features from Telegram 11.8.2 were made accessible.
- Controls that users reported as unnamed got spoken labels.
- Other reported bugs were fixed.

blindGram has kept working on reactions since then. Today the **Show Reactions As Menu** switch in Menu settings opens reactions as a grid in a dialog you can walk through; the [Menu settings guide](/docs/menu/) explains it.
