# blindGram 9.3 hotfix: sign-in crash and spoken sending status

blindGram 9.3 Final, a hotfix released October 16, 2022, fixed a crash on the Telegram sign-in screen and made a message's sending state audible.

This is an archived release announcement. 9.2 had gone out the day before, and 9.3 followed as a quick fix: a startup crash that hit some users on the sign-in screen, plus a few small changes to what the screen reader says that were ready to ship.

### Sign-in and stability

- For some users, blindGram closed on the Telegram sign-in screen as soon as it started. That crash was fixed.

### What a message says

- Messages in groups became easier to read with a screen reader.
- A message that is still being sent now reports that state, so you know it has not gone out yet instead of guessing.
- Messages you had sent yourself were read with the word "Downloaded" attached. A new switch let you drop it. That switch is still there as **Announce download state for my own messages** under Announced with each message on the [Messages page](/docs/messages/).

### Folders and proxy

- A new action took you back to your default folder tab. Today it is **Return to the default folder** on the [Chats page](/docs/chats/).
- Proxy settings could be shown in the side drawer menu. Telegram has since removed that drawer, and the same idea lives on as **Always show Proxy settings in More options** on the [Menu page](/docs/menu/).

The release this one patched is described in the [blindGram 9.2 release notes](/blog/2022-10-15/blindgram-9-2-custom-ordering-backup/). For today's app, use the [download page](/download/).
