# blindGram 9.2 lets you order what a message and a chat announce

blindGram 9.2 Final, released October 15, 2022, let screen reader users order the message menu and what a message or chat row says, and fixed settings backup.

This is an archived announcement. Every message in blindGram speaks a list of things: the sender, the text, the time, the reply, whether it was read. Which of them you want to hear first depends on how you read, and 9.2 is the release that handed that choice to you.

### Ordering screens

- The message menu can be reordered.
- What a message announces, what a chat row announces, and the menu entries each have their own ordering screen, and you move an item by long-pressing it.
- Every row also has Up and Down buttons for moving without dragging, and an option hides them if you prefer the long press.
- Today those three screens are **Ordering Messages information** on the [Messages page](/docs/messages/), **Ordering Chats information** on the Chats page, and **Ordering menu items** on the Menu page.

### Forwarding

- The category selector in the forward screen can stay visible all the time.

### Fixes

- The sender's name, and the name of the person whose message a reply answers, are announced correctly again.
- A voice message resumes where you stopped it again. Today the switch is **Remember Voice playback position** on the Media page.
- Backing up blindGram settings works again.

Backup and restore are described on the [Backup and Updates page](/docs/backup/). A hotfix, [blindGram 9.3](/blog/2022-10-16/blindgram-9-3-group-message-status-hotfix/), followed the next day, and the current app is on the [download page](/download/).
