# blindGram 2.0 beta preview: MTProto proxies and multiple accounts

Announced on August 11, 2018, the blindGram 2.0 beta previewed Telegram 4.9 with MTProto proxy support and up to three accounts under one license.

This is an archived announcement from the blindGram Telegram channel.

The first blindGram 2.0 beta was an early preview built on Telegram 4.9. Its point was to let you try the big upstream changes before the final accessible build was ready, and to report what broke.

Two things stood out. Telegram's newer MTProto proxies were supported, which helps when Telegram cannot be reached directly. And you could sign in to up to three Telegram accounts under one blindGram license.

The beta installed beside the stable app, so there was no need to remove a working version. Because it was temporary, the channel asked everyone to keep the stable release installed and to delete the beta once blindGram 2.0 Final was available.

The build itself had reached the beta channel a day earlier; see the [Beta 1 note](/blog/2018-08-10/blindgram-2-0-beta-1-mtproto-accounts/). The final release is described in the [blindGram 2.0 release note](/blog/2018-08-16/blindgram-2-0-telegram-calls-shared-media/), and the current build is on the [download page](/download/).
